I am a mature women who just relocated to PBGs from Boston where I was born, raised & educated at Boston Latin School & Boston College. I have 4 adult children. While my children were younger, I returned to college to pursue my dental hygiene degree while my mom watched my children. Upon graduation my mom was diagnosed with Alzheimer's & pancreatic cancer (survived miraculously for 5+ years). She moved in with my family for 7 years before a short stay in a memory care unit where I visited daily. My personal experience with Alzheimer's taught me more than any textbook. My clinical work history & caretaking for family and friends had fostered my compassion for helping others & adapting to personalized care. I recently completed online elder & Alzheimer's courses, a criminal background check & renewed my CPR/First Aid/OSHA certifications. I am comfortable driving to appointments/errands. I am patient, kind & empathetic. I love the elderly & feel they deserve the utmost respect.
