I'd describe my personality as highly Detail- oriented, compassionate, I take pride in my work . I love caring for seniors because it allows me to make a meaningful difference in their lives. I have a deep respect and empathy for the elderly, and I find it incredibly fulfilling to provide them with the support and care they need.. I also enjoy the opportunity to learn from their life experiences. I have 10 plus years of experience providing compassionate care for seniors, assistance with feeding, bathing, range of motion exercises. I have worked extensively with individuals with Alzheimer's and dementia, including those with behavioral challenges. I am knowledgeable in wound care, experienced in supporting individuals with swallowing difficulties. I understand proper positioning for safe eating and drinking, and I am skilled in preparing thickened liquids and modified diets. Additionally, I have cared for hospice patients and am familiar with the Bluegrass Navigators program.
