My wife and I hired this sitter so we could celebrate our 11 year wedding anniversary. But I need to warn everyone to not hire this sitter. Here are the reasons why. I had specifically asked her not to let our dog out of the crate but she claims our son did (which he has never done. Knowing the dog was out while we were on the date, I told her that the do was not allowed upstairs or in my son's playroom. She ignored this as she had removed the gate and told me the dog was going up and down the stairs. The dog also peed on the playroom carpet. She ignored my son who needs to have his diaper changed by not changing him at all in the three hours we were gone. She also let him get into restricted toys and candy he wasn't supposed to have. She also let him play with the fireplace which is off-limits. I had forgotten to ask her not to use her cell phone while she was babysitting before we left for the restaurant. We checked the camera and saw she was texting. This is something we ask of all of our babysitters. So I messaged her asking her to pleaae refrain from using her phone unless it was to text us or a family emergency. One minute later, she started sending me messages saying, "I have to leave now. I can't stay. I don't feel safe. You need to come back early. Do you have neighbors (I can take your son to?") I tried calling her a few times to find out why she was having a meltdown simply because I asked her to not use her cell phone and she never answered. She asked when we would be back, so I gave my best estimate, but we were in downtown, ten minutes walk from our car and we had to drive back to Hanahan. She kept asking me how long until we would be back and she thought we were taking our time on purpose and kept asking if I could call someone. But it took longer to get out of downtown because it was a busy Saturday night and we had to cut our date night short by an hour and a half. Meanwhile, she kept texting that we should have been back by then and that she was tired and that she had to leave now. So we get back and I go into the house and shut the door and as soon as it was shut, she grabbed her purse and I started to tell her that she ruined our anniversary date night. She looked like she had seen a ghost and said, "You are scaring me." So I opened the door and she rushed out like she had the worst experience of her life though she rushed out because she didn't like being told not to be on her cell phone. So we got our son changed and went back to downtown with our son to finish our date night.
