About Daisha

I'd describe my personality as kind, organized, and honest. Working with children is so fulfilling to me. Seeing the way they process and retain information , and fostering a welcoming learning environment are all very important to me. I'm looking for a job that allows me to continue working with children while I complete my masters degree online. I worked at various children's stores and babysat when I was younger. I worked as a substitute teacher and a library assistant while I was in college and am currently working as a preK teacher. In my spare time, I like to go outside! I have a German shepherd puppy and we are always out on an adventure. I also love to read and cook. I prefer hands-on activities I can do with the kids to get them interested in learning and foster lifelong learning habits. My skills include incorporating student interests, creating and teaching lessons, communicating with families and my kids to discover what they need the most.
