About Signija

I am 43-year-old mom of a 9-year-old girl. I am CPR and first aid certified, and have my own transportation. I have a lot of experience babysitting. At 18 I came to NJ from Europe as an au pair and later babysat my friends' children and worked as a babysitter in California. Now I love having my daughter's friends over for playdates. I love cooking for them, taking them on walks and sometimes even teaching them a little piano. I am friendly, caring, careful and can be firm but in a nice way. I believe that kids need to be happy and enjoy the growing up process. I think that being in nature and playing is their job. And also since I speak multiple languages (English, Latvian and Russian, and now learning French and Italian) I believe that trying to learn languages and music will make them want to relate to other people and cultures and will aid in confidence and communication skills. I love seeing children interact and see how their kid minds work and solve problems.
