Hello there! My name Sierra, but I go by Kailea or Kai. As the oldest of 3, I've been providing childcare for as long as I can remember. Professionally, I have 15 years of experience as a part-time babysitter, long-term nanny, and educator. I moved to California in September 2025, to start a Master of Fine Arts in Acting, but my background is in arts-based education. I have experience caring for children between 5 weeks and 13 years old. I've also worked with children through organizations like Children's Theater of Madison, Madison Public Library, and Preschool of the Arts (based in Wisconsin). If your kiddo likes being creative or playing pretend, I'm the person for you! As a full-time student and actor, I'm primarily looking for part-time/ occasional babysitting opportunities. My kids love her and cherish their time with Sierra (aka Kailea). When Kai is on our family's schedule, my kids proceed to prepare for her visit by dressing up or getting the art supplies out, because they anticipate having some fun with make believe, pretend and artistic creativity. In addition to being a very smart lady, Kai is professional, patient, kind, caring, and has a great sense of humor. Kai wears many hats (nanny, student, actress, tutor). She knows a few foreign languages, has given my children Spanish lessons and helped them with their reading and math. She is also great at redirecting the kids and getting them back on track when they misbehave. I highly recommend Kai as a caregiver (and so do my children!). My kids always ask when she'll return, they have many things they want to show and share with her. I know they are in good hands when in her care.
