About Louisa

Hello! My name is Louisa, and I'm an experienced childcare professional in Montrose CA. I'm the oldest of three siblings, and nine cousins, so I've been spending time with kids for as long as I can remember. When I got a little older, I spent five summers as a camp counselor, living and learning with kids K-12. I'm an artist with experience working in the animation industry, but in my spare time I like to work on crochet projects, roller skate, and play tabletop games. Growing up I was a huge theater kid - I was also in choir, I played French Horn in the band, and I read any book I could get my hands on. I've worked with all ages, so I'm just as comfortable changing a diaper as I am helping with math homework. I think it's important to treat children with respect, and speak to them with sincerity and understanding. Growing up is hard! I'm available for short term work for the rest of the summer, and possibly the fall too. I hope we get to work together!
