About Shirley

I'm a faith-driven, compassionate caregiver who loves caring for infants and children. My husband and I recently relocated to the Charlotte/Huntersville area to be near family. We homeschooled our four children, now grown with careers in law, medicine, and entrepreneurship. We're blessed with several grandchildren, including three newborns in June/July of 2025 two toddlers, and children 5-8 yo. I have hands-on experience in elder care, having served as my mother's primary live-in caregiver and legal advocate after her diagnosis of a rare movement disorder (Progressive Supranuclear Palsy). Professionally, I've worked as a certified home care provider through the Ohio Dept. of Developmental Disabilities, a one-on-one paraprofessional aide for autistic students in a private school (K-12), and church admin assistant for seniors, counseling, and care ministries. I bring a nurturing presence, reliability, and a heart to serve.
