About Sherry

To Whom It May Concern, It is my absolute pleasure to recommend Sherry as a nanny. Sherry was with our family for over a year, and from the very beginning, she became an irreplaceable part of our lives. When she first started, my son Q was only four months old and my older son L was about two and a half. To say she felt like family is no exaggeration—she became like a second mom to me, and my kids, husband, and even our dogs adored her. Sherry is the most hands-on nanny I have ever seen. She didn’t just watch my children; she engaged them. Whether it was outdoor adventures, sensory activities, painting, worksheets, cooking, or creative play, she brought enthusiasm and thoughtfulness to every moment. She was never afraid to get messy right alongside the kids, and her focus was always on making them feel seen, heard, and loved. My children grew in confidence, creativity, and happiness because of the way Sherry poured into them every single day. She prepared meals and dinners for my entire family, followed their sleep schedules and routines with ease. I never once worried when Sherry was in my home. She was trustworthy and reliable, ALWAYS! Her reliability was unmatched. Sherry was always punctual, never missed a shift, and consistently went above and beyond. She eagerly picked up extra hours when I needed help and even came through for us during last-minute emergencies with no hesitation. I always knew my children were safe, cared for, and genuinely loved when they were with her, which is the greatest gift a parent can have. Sherry was more than my nanny, she was my friend and confidant. I valued her opinion and advice. We talked about life, we laughed, we cried, and everything in between. She was an employee but it never ever felt that way. We were a team, and she taught me so much- but never overstepped. She respected me as MOM and knew her role as nanny was to add love and FUN to our day to day. When Sherry shared that she needed to move back to Northern California, my heart sank. Losing her was one of the hardest things for our family, because caregivers like Sherry are truly like finding a needle in a haystack. Her unique combination of professional teaching experience and natural motherly instincts is rare, and it is what sets her apart from anyone else.
