Hi, My name is Sherri. I have 10+ years as a Medical Assistant 10 years as a Nursing Assistant at a care facility. My work has mainly been with end stage/ hospice patients, whether it be a physical/ mental illness. My mother suffered from Dementia. She lost her battled on 7/5 I can understand the frustrations that accompany this horrible disease. I have had great report with all my patients and I treat them with the utmost respect. I will treat your loved one the same way I would treat mine. I can offer companionship as well as wound care, bathing, medication prompting, feeding, light housekeeping and meal preparation. Very comfortable with all pets. My hourly fee $30 an hour with a 4 hour minimum. I will certainly make exceptions with the minimal hours/ one time job, if my schedule allows. Sherri helped care for my 92 yo mother before her passing this summer. I had cared for mom for 6 years before my own age started to make it more difficult. Sherri came to us as a bundle of positivity, compassion, joy and love. She quickly became an honorary member of our family, working in our home 5 days a week. Mom LOVED Sherri and she let everyone she interacted with know it! In mom's final days Sherri was a Godsend to us, helping not only with mom's care, but also shepherding my daughter and I through mom's death process and the beginning of our own grieving process. Sherri remains, and always will, a member of our family. If you have the opportunity for Sherri to be a light in your home PLEASE don't pass it by. You will be better for having her in your life!
