About Sherlyn

Hi! I'm a psychology graduate (B. S.) with a lifelong passion for working with children and families. As the oldest of seven siblings, I helped care for my six younger brothers and sisters, ranging from infancy to their teen years, throughout my childhood, giving me hands-on experience with kids at every developmental stage. Since then, I've built on that foundation professionally: I taught kids' ministry for 3 years (ages 1-9), tutored 3rd-6th graders, and currently work as a behavior technician with 4-6-year-olds. I'm CPR certified as of 9/11/26. I'm taking a gap year before starting my graduate program in social work, and I'm looking for a caretaking role where I can continue supporting kids and families while I prepare for my career. I'd love to bring my patience, experience, and genuine love of childcare to your family!
