About Sherlyn

Empowering students to unlock their unique potential is at the heart of my teaching practice. With two years of experience supporting elementary and middle school students in Math and English, I focus on building confidence rather than simple memorization. I assess your learning style through active observation and open communication, ensuring my methods align with your needs. When concepts become challenging, I keep you engaged by celebrating small victories and fostering curiosity through interactive discussion. I believe clear communication with both you and your parents is essential to tracking progress and setting goals. Nothing compares to the joy of witnessing that "aha!" moment when a difficult concept finally clicks. I hold a college degree and am happy to meet at your home or the library to begin our work together. I look forward to helping you discover just how much you are capable of achieving.
