About Shenika

I have experience in home health aide over 10 years I got my Cna liscense in 2012. Before I got my license I took care of my great grandmother up until she passed away. Did all her housekeeping, laundry, daily errands, bathing, also did her medications for the week. After I got my license, I went into the nursing home field great experience. I've dealt with all type of patients with dementia , memory care also rehab gaining their strength back to go home. I had patients from the age of early's 40s to almost up to 100 years old. I have learn a lot over the years and most of my patients didn't have family that come and see them. So my time there were precious to them seeing them everyday and becoming family to them. Til this day I still keep in contact with a couple of my patients children even those the patient's has passed away. And that's the worst part of working in this field because you get attached build a bond to them and soon they died. I wish they can live forever.
