About Shelley

I've been a mom for 46 years and a grandma for 21. I like children and relating to them. I have experience as a Sunday school teacher, and a leader in church-oriented girl scouts, including camp-outs with preteens. I have taught art and Spanish to grades Kindergarten through eighth in private schools, and tutored Spanish to my pastors' children. I have worked with the youth group of my church, with the teenagers. I have been working as a Teacher Assistant - hence, with children of special needs - for about 20 years, from grades 7-12 in a city high school, and grades 5-8 in a city middle school. I have home-schooled my own two younger children from grades 2-12 and 5-7.
