Hi! I'm Kelly. I am certified to teach both special education and general education in grades 1-6, and have taught 1st grade for the past 4 years before becoming a stay-at-home mom. Prior to becoming a teacher, I worked at the YMCA Before and After School program, which involved planning activities for and supervising children ages 5-11, worked through Americorps as a 6th and 7th grade math tutor, and worked as an outdoor educator, leading team-building activities and teaching about wildlife and ecology. I have babysat and nannied both part-time and full-time for kids of all ages, and would be happy to provide references. I have been previously certified in CPR, lifeguarding, and first aid. I love hiking, reading, crafts, and being outdoors. I am seeking a part-time summer job, and I have lots of flexibility.
