I have 7+ years of childcare experience, including volunteering @ the church, working as a lead teacher, ABA therapist, & full-time nanny/household manager. I'm CDA certified& CPR/First Aid certified, with experience caring for children from newborn through school age. I love helping kids grow into confident, independent little humans through structured routines, engaging activities, & lots of patience. I also enjoy getting out of the house for daily outings & intentional days at home. Shelby has been our family's nanny for more than 2 years, and she has been incredible. She started when my kids were 2.5yo and 9mo, and will leave when they start school at 3 and 5. Shelby is responsive, energetic, she takes feedback well, she communicates very well, keeps us updated with pictures and provides suggestions when we're working through problems. She organizes activites for the kids, takes the on lots of outings, but most importantly she listens to them, builds them up, and is a very safe space for them. She handles their tantrums and anger but also celebrates their wins. She's a part of our family now, and any family would be lucky to have her as a nanny.
