About Shelby

Hello! I'm Shelby, and I'm a recent graduate of Duke University with a degree in Statistics and Secondary Math Teaching Certification. During my student teaching internship, I taught Math I and AP Calculus BC. I have classroom teaching experience with 1st-6th and 8th-12th grades. Previously, I have directed a summer enrichment program and completed a 10-week teaching internship in Boston. I am proficient in all levels of high school mathematics and have taken courses in multivariable calculus and linear algebra, along with numerous courses in education and statistics. I am currently on break before I begin my PhD program, and I am excited to share the joy I find in learning with others. I am comfortable tutoring any level of math, along with some subjects in science and the humanities. I look forward to connecting with you and your student!
