About Shelby

Hi! I'm Shelby, a mom in Greenbrier with 10+ years of childcare experience and 6+ years of healthcare experience as a CNA, including hospital experience. I'm currently offering small-group childcare from my home and intentionally keeping enrollment limited so each child receives plenty of individual attention, interaction, and care. My days are centered around learning through play with story time, books, letters, numbers, colors, shapes, crafts, sensory activities, music, fine motor skills, imaginative play, and indoor and outdoor fun. I also have infant and toddler equipment, toys, books, and dedicated play spaces throughout my home. My healthcare background has taught me to be attentive, organized, calm under pressure, and comfortable following individual routines and care instructions. Communication with parents is extremely important to me, and I want every child to feel comfortable, loved, and excited to come back each day. Full-time, part-time, and occasional care available!
