About Jenny

I'm Jenny, I'm 24 and I have worked in the childcare sphere in the past four years. Primarily as a live in/out nanny but also a daycare teacher, tutor, camp counselor, and babysitter. Some experience with homeschooling and tutoring up to elementary, as well as basic housekeeping, ie cleaning nursery, dishes, or my favorite - laundry! I got into childcare because of a combination of passion & interests. Child development is absolutely fascinating and I spend a lot of my free time reading / researching. The best part of my career is that it's my job to build a bond and impact a child's life for the better. In my experience, the child and family always end up changing me too. :) About me: I grew up in Orlando, Florida to Colombian immigrants and attended University in Worcester, Massachusetts where I was two years into an Environmental Studies degree. The three loves of my life are marine biology, creative writing, and childcare. I speak English, Spanish & a little baby sign.
