About Shelby

Hi, my name is Shelby and I graduated with my Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice from Benedictine University in Mesa, AZ. I first started working with kids when I was 15 years old as a volunteer at the Boys and Girls club. I have continued working with kids over the past 10 years in various positions. In my last position as a Child Care Worker through the University of Nevada Reno, I specifically worked with infants and toddlers. I gained experience working with children who have cognitive, social, emotional, and verbal delays. I learned how to manage a classroom of eight children and facilitate developmentally appropriate practices. Please reach out if you are interested.
