I have been caring for children since I was 16 years old. I am CPR certified and I plan on getting my First Aid certification this month. My major is Human Development and Family Studies, with my concentration being in Early Childhood Development. I have worked for the Early Head Start Program and the Children and Family Research Center up at the University of Nevada, Reno and have had multiple other jobs babysitting and one job nannying full-time. I have also interned for a semester with the Children's Cabinet. I love working with children because I find it rewarding and I don't see it as a job. I view it as time to help a new generation grow and prosper; to help someone else reach their full potential. Children bring joy to my life, especially if I know that I am bringing joy to theirs.
