Hello! My name is Shelara My heart is truly in supporting individuals with developmental delays, autism, and various other disabilities, a journey I've been on for over 5 years now. I absolutely cherish my role as a host home provider, currently nurturing the independence and well-being of two wonderful adults with disabilities. I'm also hoping to extend that same compassionate care to others who might need a helping hand during the day while my current clients are at their day program. I have 3+ years experience at a day program where I focused on passionately encouraging life skills, building vibrant community connections, and creating truly inclusive spaces where everyone feels valued. I also have 2 years of experience as a job coach, in which I've had the joy of empowering individuals with disabilities to reach their career dreams and work towards any goals they may have.
