About Shekinah

Hi my name is Shekinah and I am new to care. com but I am not new to babysitting! I've been in childcare for 5yrs now, I was an on-call nanny for 3 families that I've accumulated through word to mouth. For the the past few years I've been in college working towards my career, but I'm seriously starting to miss the playfulness of being surrounded by kids! I am able to help with most additional activities such as light housekeeping, meal prep, before/after-school care and transportation. I also have tons experience with new parents as well and I totally understand how uncomfortable it is to go out for the first time so i'm always happy to relieve any anxieties with extra introductions , being on camera and sending updates, etc. I also cautiously follow the proper health regulations and guidelines while sick to ensure not only my safety but your child's as well. During my free time I enjoy spending time with family and friends, as well as learning new languages and painting :))
