About Shayna
Hello, my name is Shayna and I am an open minded and creative 22-year-old! Although I graduated in Politics in college, I have found enjoyment in childcare in both interpersonal and academic settings and I have decided to get back into it now that I have settled home. I am open to different age groups but mostly have experience with toddlers, preschoolers and school-aged children. I'm looking for part time potions (as well as one time positions), with a minimum commitment of 1 year. My rates start at $17/hour for one child. I have worked individually with one family who has a special needs child and have dedicated countless volunteer hours in the Sacramento START Program - an after school program that provides children with enriching activities inside and outside the classroom. My focus is on ensuring your child is in a safe, supportive and creative environment to learn and grow. I'm always open to suggestion to ensure the best care for you and your family.

Shayna is a very responsible, respectful and caring person. She pays attention to details and always made sure that my son was her first priority during care time. I have a son with down syndrome who needs a lot of help in day to day life routines and a lot of supervision as well. I always left detailed instructions for Shayna and she always completed all his daily tasks. I was never disappointed in her care for my son. I highly recommend Shayna for any type of care giving assignment.
