About Shayna

Empowering students to reach their full potential is at the heart of my teaching approach. I focus on building confidence and fostering a genuine love for learning, rather than simple memorization. By actively observing how you interact with new material, I adapt my strategies--whether through visual aids, hands-on activities, or collaborative discussions--to fit your unique needs. I keep lessons engaging by connecting complex concepts to your personal interests and breaking difficult problems into manageable steps. I believe clear, consistent communication with both you and your parents is essential to building the trust necessary for academic growth. Seeing your confidence flourish as you master new skills is the most rewarding part of my work. I hold a college degree and have one year of experience helping elementary and middle school students excel in Math, English, Art, and Test Preparation. I look forward to supporting your journey toward success.
