About Shay

I'm a CNA and professional caregiver with 10 years of experience caring for seniors, including 2 years as a Memory Care Director. I have extensive experience with dementia and Alzheimer's and believe in patient-centered, individualized care. I genuinely enjoy spending time with seniors, hearing their stories, and learning what makes each person unique. My goal is to help those I care for feel safe, respected, comfortable, and valued. I'm warm, dependable, compassionate, and always willing to learn and remain teachable. My passion for senior care began when my grandma needed extra help. Getting to know her friends opened my heart to the humor, wisdom, and kindness seniors have to offer, and I found a deep sense of purpose in supporting them. I pay attention to the little things and strive to make each day easier and more enjoyable. In my spare time, I enjoy going to the gym, drawing, and spending time with my family.
