About Shawn

I've spent the past 5+ years in childcare, and I can confidently say that I'm passionate about supporting families and making a positive impact on the lives of children. My time in previous babysitting roles solidified my desire to work with children and help them learn, grow, and develop. I was a full time nanny before I got my current job! I currently am an instructional assistant. As a caregiver, I'm known for my patience and calm demeanor, which helps create a nurturing environment for children. When it comes to communicating with parents, I believe in transparency. I'm happy to provide updates via text or phone call, whichever the parents prefer! I currently do work in an elementary school, but have been contemplating possibly switching to full time nannying again! I am also a high school cheer coach, which is why I have to be done by 3:00 some days during the week!
