I have over a decade of experience collectively working with people with special needs. The last four years I have works in a school setting in an elementary SPED classroom that's moderate to severe with medical needs. In this class I learned how to use all kinds of different medical equipment. In this class we were trained to assist with speech therapy, physical therapy, and occupationl therapty. We also were trained on seizure protocols, manual and machine gtube feedings, asthma, mobility issues, aac's, and more. The class had a range of different disabilities. I also have extensive experience with kids and adults that are on the spectrum. One of my first jobs was working with adults with disabilities.
