Special education has been a passion of mine since I was making friends with special needs peers in elementary school, so I could travel to their resource classroom. I have been defending and learning about special needs my whole life and actually have multiple, myself, that are invisible due to my high-functioning abilities. I have been working and traveling alone since my teens, am a certified therapeutic musician, long time educator, and performer. I have educated young deaf children with additional disabilities, children and teens on the spectrum, adults out of retirement with PTSD and learning differences, and other educators on how to integrate adaptive learning and life skills and tools. I am creative, musical, multi lingual and instrumental and am an excellent non verbal communicator. I have a way with people who are often considered challenging by others. I am warm and flexible.
