About Shauntay

Empowering young learners to find joy in their studies is the foundation of my teaching practice. As a Certified teacher with experience in Elementary School English, I prioritize a slow, steady pace that ensures mastery before moving forward. I believe that building confidence is just as vital as academic progress. I adapt my methods to your child's unique needs by incorporating visual aids, hands-on activities, and engaging games to keep them motivated. I maintain consistent communication with parents to ensure we are always aligned on goals and progress. Whether we meet at your home or mine, I celebrate every small success to foster a supportive and patient environment. Seeing a student's face light up when they finally grasp a challenging concept is the most rewarding part of my work. I truly look forward to helping your student grow into a curious, capable learner.
