For the past 38 years, I've been a certified teacher, helping elementary school students thrive in math and ELA. I know every student possesses unique potential. My approach focuses on building confidence and fostering a love for learning, not just memorization. I actively listen to understand how you learn best, adapting my methods with visual aids, activities, discussions, and practice problems. I celebrate small successes and break down complex problems. Communication is essential. I want to understand your needs and build a supportive environment. Witnessing that "aha!" moment when a concept clicks is the most rewarding part of tutoring.
