I'd describe my personality as warm, steady, compassionate I like working with kids because they're little bundles of energy & curiosity. I enjoy channeling that towards learning and play I'm looking for a job that allows me to help busy parents get a helping hand and give kiddos a sense of safety and security when mom/dad are away I started working with kids when I was a pre-teen In my spare time, I like to make music, explore the cultural/historical aspects of Pittsburgh One thing you should know about me is although I have no children of my own I have been blessed to have children who view me as a surrogate mom. I have tremendous respect for children and know that parenting isn't a one-size-fits-all endeavor. Each family, each child has their own unique needs and styles of childcare. I always commit to respecting each family's approach My skills include encourage learning and reading to children; helping children with emotional regulation and the importance of play
