About Shari

I'd describe my personality as outgoing, determined, and patient. I like tutoring because it gives me the opportunity to help students learn and grow in a personalized setting, boosting their confidence and helping them grow in areas they have learning gaps in. Enabling students to have a deeper understanding in those areas while tailoring instruction to their individual needs and learning styles. I'm looking for a tutoring job with an elementary student who needs help in reading, writing, math, science, or social studies. I also have experience with teaching multilingual students. I started tutoring 2011. In my spare time, I like to go kayaking, take hikes, and cook. One thing you should know about me is I have my Masters Degree in teaching. My skills include patience, empathy, and problem-solving.
