About Suzannah

Hi! My name is Suzannah, and I'm an English professor and published writer with a passion for helping students grow in confidence and skill. I earned my MFA in Creative Writing from the College of Charleston, where I also taught writing and composition, and I hold a BA in English Writing with a minor in Political Science. My work has appeared in several literary journals and magazines, and I love bringing that same enthusiasm for reading and writing into tutoring. I have experience working with middle school, high school, college, and adult learners, and I specialize in: Essay writing and editing Reading comprehension Creative writing Study skills and organization My goal is to make sessions supportive, engaging, and tailored to each student's needs - whether that's mastering grammar, polishing college essays, or building confidence in communication.
