I'm Shapiro a 35-year-old professional nanny. I have over 10 years of experience in ages from newborn to elementary. As well as 7 years of experience as a Lead/Assistant Teacher. I've worked in Public, Private but ending in Montessori Schools over the years. Where I worked with sensory children in small group settings. Where a part of their practice is independent through lesson.
I've taught in home, I have created ideas for multiple age groups and classroom activities. I have references and willing to subject to a background check. Shapiro really came through for us when we were in a tight spot.  Our previous nanny quit without notice.  Shapiro went out of her way to help us until we hired someone else full time.
She is a good, reliable human who genuinely loves working with children.  She REALLY knows her stuff.  In the just over two weeks that she was with us, she got my then 7 month old son to start holding his own bottle and sit unsupported.
We will definitely be asking her back to babysit for our son in the future.  We highly recommend her.


We’ve enjoyed using Shapiro. She’s very attentive to our 10 month old and has a great attitude. You can tell she enjoys what she does. 

She is so patient with our four month old baby. Anything my baby needs to feel comfortable she does with no problem. We were so nervous to let just anyone watch our baby but after one visit I was sold on her. Ten star rating. 

We feel so lucky to have found Shapiro! She has been caring for our 3 month old and has done an amazing job from day one. As first-time parents, trusting someone outside of family for the first time was a big step, and she immediately made us feel comfortable. She is attentive, gentle, and truly caring with our baby. We especially appreciate how flexible and accommodating she has been, even with last-minute bookings. It’s clear she takes pride in what she does, and we’re so grateful to have her as part of our support system.

I am so unbelievably happy to have found someone that both my daughter and I love, trust and feel safe with. As the primary caregiver balance is necessary and needed. Having a reliable caregiver has been a godsend. I definitely recommend her to families especially those with younger children. 

She has been looking after my growing family for years and she is so  unique this is not your average caregiver. She actually taught
 my kids how to count and spell, and they were knowing their ABCs and identifying alphabets at a very young age. I 100% recommend this caregiver. She is very safe alert and clean with a very positive attitude. I give her more than five stars if I could.

Shapiro was phenomenal with my 10 mo old son! From the start up until the very end she was patient, friendly, and super interactive.  So much that he took an immediate liking to her. As a mom, I felt at ease knowing I could leave the room because he was in good care.  I’m so grateful to have found Shapiro you’re a life saver!

Hiring Shapiro was my first time getting a sitter. I am a first time mom to a 5 month old son and I was not looking forward to getting a sitter. However Shapiro has really helped me be comfortable with the idea. My son is comfortable with her and she’s very patient with him. She goes above and beyond to ensure not only my son is good but we are good as parents. 

Shapiro was great with my 7 year old. This was a last minute request for a sitter and she was on time enthusiastic!


I've known Shapiro for 3 years now and she's has been our go to Nanny, Sitter, Caregiver for my grandchildren. Which are a set of twins as well as my autistic 5 years old grandson who is nonverbal, absolutely loves Shapiro. She has patiently taken her time to help him through multiple milestones over the years and we are just grateful for her. Shapiro's a true professional caregiver for our grandchildren. She is reliable, the kids love her playful spirit, and she loves kids genuinely. She is also very attentive and trustworthy. We've had a lot of babysitters thru Care but Shapiro is at the top of my list.

Shapiro is a natural with our kids! They love it when ever she comes over. She's creative, attentive and nurturing. Highly recommend .

Shapiro was great to work with. We were in from out of town and we hired her to watch our 2 yr old son while we attended a wedding. She jumped right in to play with our son when she arrived and our son felt comfortable with her immediately. She was very responsive and gave us updates through the night. Our son had a great time and we would definitely like to work with Shapiro again!

This was our first time finding a baby sitter that wasn’t family. We were nervous but Shapiro made it easy. She really knew what to do with everything. She has tons of experience. Shapiro was great! She was timely and asked all the right questions when it came to taking care of our 11 month old. We were worried about having someone new with our baby since she is usually with family but Shapiro interacted so well with our daughter that nerves easily dwindled by the time I had to leave them. When we came back our daughter was happy and talking and she’d even cleaned up for us through the house, which was not expected but definitely appreciated. Our daughter seemed to enjoy her time with her. We’re so happy we found someone so qualified and capable of being with our daughter.

Shapiro was absolutely wonderful! She was fully of energy, extremely communicative, and willing to jump right in and help. I would definitely recommend her! 

She is extremely professional and goes above and beyond while she is on duty! My children love her!
