About Shannon

Hello! Growing up, I spent a lot of time with my grandparents. I enjoyed listening to stories about their lives and helping out doing small chores around their house and caring for them. This prepared me for my first job as an adult which was at a home styled assisted living facility. I was the sole over night care taker and was responsible for 10 residents, most of them had varying stages of dementia. Most recently, I have been providing private in home companion care. I prefer the one on one care and getting to know wiser older people on a more personal level! I am able to provide quality companion care- homemade meals/meal prepping, bathing, dressing, hygiene, giving medication, help with keeping active, and I am more than willing to do some cleaning and maintaining the home, as well as errands and transportation to appointments. I am currently a student at Mankato state to become a CNA and I have a PCA certificate through the state. I'm looking forward to hearing from you!
