With two years of experience as a residential assistant at senior living, I focus on medication administration, insulin (regulating blood sugar), assisting with bathing, grooming, dressing, some transfers with hoyer lifts, assisting residents with mild to moderate dementia/Alzheimer's and creating a comfortable, calm environment for those in my care. I am compassionate and empathetic, which helps me effectively handle confusion or behavioral changes while adapting to new routines.
