About Shannon

I'd describe my personality as caring, joyful, and dependable. I like working with kids because they are full of life, teachable, and in need of care. I'm looking for a job that allows me to help someone and gives me an opportunity to use what I've learned and grown in over the last many years of my life. I started working with kids when I was probably 13. I have always enjoyed helping kids. I babysat at a young child, after marriage I became a mom of four wonderful children and then became a foster mom for a few years. In my spare time, I like to read my Bible, spend time with my husband, play games with my adult children, fellowship with my church family, hike, walk our dogs, craft, and spend time with my parents. One thing you should know about me is that I am a person of integrity. My skills include spending time with and engaging the kids, light housekeeping, and helping the kids in my care manage their routines.
