About Shannon

I believe that a child's creativity and imagination should be supported through craft, play, and time spent outside! I am a creative person and in my free time I make pottery. I have been studying ceramics for four years and have recently started teaching field trips with kids of all ages how to use the potters wheel. It is an incredibly rewarding experience to work with and for children! I have been in childcare for about 10 years, holding lots of long term and fulfilling relationships with the families I worked for. Because of my past work experience as a cook, I am passionate about preparing nourishing and exciting meals. This also has allowed me to have lots of experience safely navigating allergies and dietary restrictions.
