About shannon

I like working with kids because they are some of the most fun and interesting people to be around. Kids carry their own kind of light and passions and I love seeing it in them and helping them explore what's there. When kids are young they have so much ahead of them and it's most important at that time to develop and encourage them to do great in life and I love to be a part of that journey and watch them flourish! I have worked with kids pretty much all my life, I was raised in a non denominational christian church and spent a lot of time doing children's ministries on Sundays. I also spent most of my childhood and highschool years babysitting for many people; my mom's friends, church friends or family who had busy work schedules- I'm the youngest of 5 siblings so i've been deemed the family baby sitter. One thing about me is I am a big foodie, I am always eating, cooking or going out to eat with friends or my Husband!
