Hello! I'm Mariela. I've spent 30+ years caring for children and 25 years teaching in elementary classrooms. I'm also a mom of twin teenage boys, so I understand busy family life firsthand. I'm a certified swim instructor specializing in water-safety and survival skills, and I hold all my credentials, including CPR and First Aid. I'm nurturing, dependable, and passionate about helping kids learn, grow, and feel safe. I'd describe my personality as warm, friendly and caring I like working with kids because I love making a positive difference in their lives. I started working with kids when I was in elementary school helping my mom with her at home daycare. I started by changing diapers and feeding babies to actually babysitting them when I was a teenager. I then became a professional nanny for many families.
