About Shannon

Hi! I'm a Licensed Teacher with a personality I'd describe as silly, dependable, and calm. I love working with kids because their energy is exciting, and there is nothing more rewarding than the moment a new concept truly 'clicks' for a student. I began my journey in childcare at 16 as a camp counselor, eventually working my way up to Program Director where I managed logistics and safety for over 100 campers. Today, as a Third Grade Teacher, I specialize in supporting neurodiverse learners, including those with ADHD and Autism, and have successfully helped students achieve up to two grade levels of academic growth in a single year. I am an expert tutor, CPR-certified, and thrive in high-stress situations by staying 'go-with-the-flow' and composed. In my spare time, I love hiking with my dog, dancing, and DIY projects.
