Hi. I will be looking to start a new nanny job with a great family at the end of March or early April. I will be leaving a loving family this year, which will be difficult. I have over 30 years of experience working with children from infants to 8 years old. I have a Masters Degree in Education which I used to teach for 20 years. I am good at coming up with educational activities. I like to take children to the library, playgrounds, walks around the neighborhood and read to children. I love it when children learn and have fun playing. I'm a take charge person who is organized and I offer to do housework and make lunch/snacks for children. Shannon has been a part of our family and took wonderful care of our children for 1.5 years. She was with my daughter from 3-4.5 years old and with our 10.5 month old son since he was born. She worked for us full time... through our demanding and hectic schedules and as we welcomed a new baby to our family. She came into our home with a warm smile daily and consistently had an organized day with the kids. Her extensive experience with teaching played a huge role in our daughter's life through her toddler stages (potty-training, school, writing, education). She also helped our son achieve his developmental milestones from rolling over, crawling and standing. Our daughter had fun days with Shannon at parks, gym classes, princess and science classes and exploring Richmond. Her creative arts and crafts projects were always a hit with the kids! Overall - our kids were loved and well taken care of ... and for that we are eternally grateful.
