About Shannon

Fostering a child's growth and development is my true passion, and I have dedicated 40 years to making a positive impact . As a mother of two grown sons, I believe in raising children with love, patience, compassion, and respect to help them reach their full potential. I am CPR Training and First Aid Training certified and have completed Early Child Development Coursework in college. I worked with developmentally disabled clients in a group home in my 20's and gained a great understanding and appreciation working with families with special needs. I am very comfortable enforcing household rules and am happy to assist with meal preparation, carpooling, and light housekeeping. Whether we are playing board games, solving puzzles, or enjoying outdoor sports, I strive to keep children engaged and active.
