Shannon has tons of experience, and adapts to different homes, ages of kids, and needs easily. She brings a fun energy to the house, and the kids adore her. She is nurturing, but at the same time, she encourages the kids to take age appropriate personal responsibility. She nannied for us during a challenging time- our youngest child was diagnosed with autism. She was eager to learn how best to help him, and support us with his different therapy needs at home. She is unflappable and multitasks masterfully. She kept our kids' safety and well being as her primary guidepost. We highly recommend her.

Shannon is truly a professional in all aspects of the word.  She is incredibly knowledgeable and caring about babies and kids (most important!), she's dependable, she goes out of her way to make sure she's providing value to you (for example, one day my daughter slept extra long and Shannon took it upon herself to do laundry and some shoveling at our house--which was definitely never anything we'd asked her to do.  She's smart and experienced, and I valued her opinion -for example, when trying to help deal with my 5 month old's nap schedule/night-time schedule I felt she really listened to me and helped me figure out how to best help my daughter's sleep.  She also made sure to honor my parenting wishes, and I know all parents are different, so I can't tell you how important that was to me that she was able to honor what I wanted for my kid.  She was just all-around great! I can't say enough how much we valued having Shannon.
