About Shannon

Hi! I'm Shannon-a nurturing, dependable caregiver with a strong background in child development and over 3 years of experience as a full-time elementary school teacher. I currently teach 2nd grade in Baltimore City, and working with children is truly my passion. I love creating safe, joyful environments where kids feel seen, supported, and encouraged to be themselves. I bring structure, creativity, and patience to every interaction, whether we're doing crafts, reading stories, playing outside, or working through big emotions. I'm comfortable caring for children of all ages and have experience supporting kids with various needs and personalities. With me, your child will be in caring, capable hands. I'm available for full-time babysitting, after-school care, weekend help, or summer care. I'd love to be a positive, consistent presence in your child's life!
