About Shannon

For two decades, I've dedicated myself to nurturing children's potential and making a difference in their lives. My graduate-level education (a Master's of Professional Counseling) complements my hands-on experience caring for children of all ages, from infants to teenagers. I am patient, creative, and friendly, and I enjoy playing outdoor sports, physical games, and educational games. I am very comfortable enforcing household rules. I communicate with parents using their preferred method. I have previously been certified in First Aid and CPR, but let the certification lapse when I stopped providing therapy for children. I am happy to get certified again if your family requires it. I'm happy to help with light housekeeping. I would love to bring my passion for childcare to your family and create a fun, safe, and enriching environment for your child.
