About Shannon

From my early teens to my 20's, I have found immense joy in nurturing children's growth and development. For the last 6 years I have worked as a nurse and some of that time was spent working in pediatrics. My previous babysitting experiences solidified my passion for providing reliable care and supporting families. I am patient, creative, and approachable, and I enjoy playing outdoor sports, board games, and educational activities with children. I also have experience working with special needs children and families. I am comfortable caring for up to two children, ages 0-12+. I always follow the parents' lead when enforcing household rules and communicate using their preferred method. I am CPR and First Aid certified. I do not currently have a vehicle and would be looking for work within my own home. I have a 9-month-old that I would be caring for as well.
