About Shannen

I have 10 years of experience working with individuals ages 2 to 21 years old, and I currently work in a nonprofit school for children with autism and other developmental disabilities. In my current role, I teach educational and vocational skills, implement individual educational plans (IEP's) and follow closely behavior intervention plans (BIP's). I include activities (such as crafts and/or games) and productive play that further help the student to understand the material, depending on the child's age and needs. I am open to tutoring a child of any age that may need help with certain skills. I am also open to helping manage any behaviors that may interfere with the child's learning or retaining of information. Please do not hesitate to message me with any questions or concerns!
