About Shanna

One of my first jobs was working in a Senior Care Home. It was by far one of my most valued and favorite positions. I started off working in the restaurant as a server, I had to manage dietary restrictions and assist some of the residents with eating. I later added to my job and began teaching chair aerobics. Some of the residents would fall asleep, and some would end the class with a burst of energy, putting on classical music and dancing with me around the room. I've always enjoyed helping people, making someone happy or being sure that they're comfortable. As of now, I care for my three elementary aged children. I also volunteer for an organization for Seniors by writing Birthday, Get Well and Condolence Cards to members. Without formal elderly care training, I'm able to help by offering tidying, shopping, cooking and companionship.
